The Machine is similar to a Facing & Centering machine with the addition of boring quills which operate through the center of the milling spindles.
The boring quills are moved hydraulically & controlled by separate "spring offset" valves. The valves are "reset" position; example: "quill withdraw"
The boring spindles are rotated by gearing from the milling motors. With the milling heads fully forward to the front of the limit switch and mechanical stop, the boring quills are correctly placed in relation to the job center line.
